I guess that most bloggers use their blog to advertise the fact that they are well travelled. Surprise, surprise, this blog is no exception. However, it marks the beginning of a new series of travels that are the result of having more time, but being restricted by health issues as to what I can do.Living in Nottinghamshire, not far from the Peak District, and being mad keen on digital photography, I thought that my interests might converge. But, I do confess to a vested interest in New Zealand, and so this blog will document my travels to anywhere in the world that my limited resources might take me.
I intend to start this blog at the inspirational point, namely the first heart attack of November 3rd 2006 and the event just before this.
For my 60th birthday I pursuaded my wife to let me buy a digital SLR. I had taken a few practice photos and was to use it to document my wife's birthday trip to Jersey.
